Hello,

I am still trying to trade some of my vintage pens to find that "perfect daily writer". I am looking for a Pelikan 800 or higher, preferably with a Binder Nib. Maybe a Montblanc. Maybe something else... PM me.

 

The Equipoise is in mint condition with no scratches. Very minimal darkening.

FYI, I'm not looking for a $1200 trade, I just posted that link to give you guys a look at what the pen looks like, not the price. I would be more than happy with a couple of nice pens, like a MB, Pelikan, even a VP with a Binderized nib, some pens that I can use often...

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
