Hero FPS-006 demonstrator?

Anybody know anything about the Hero FPS-006 clear demonstrator? I did a search but came up with nothing.

 

I'm feeling a little tempted by this auction.

 

But it seems silly to buy 12 pens I know nothing about.

 

(Because ALL my other pen purchases are TOTALLY RATIONAL. Yeah.)

If Dollar pens and hand-slitted Indian ebonite pens will write just fine (although Richard objects), then Hero will too.

 

Although I haven't seen or used Hero demonstrators, my four Hero pens work totally fine. They will write smoothly out of the box and I guess they write smoother than certain disposable FPs. If you have a Dollar pen, its about the same thing in terms of degree of workmanship and nib quality.

I've had a couple of Hero pens, and one writes beautifully and the other two are iffy. One was a dud and the second is questionable.

 

However, they were both quite cheap... and one must assume that if it's Chinese-cheap-pen roulette, one is bound to get lucky in a lot of 12.
