Sailor nib guidance

Hello, all! Hope 2009 is treating everyone well so far. Got a question/request for a recommendation:

 

I have a MB 149 with a M nib and a Pelikan 615 with a M nib. The Pelikan is finer than the MB, and the MB is about as broad as I'd like to go. I'm considering (OK, planning and scheming) to get a Sailor Professional Gear, and I've heard their nibs run finer than European nibs.

 

Should I try the M nib from Sailor, with the understanding that it's going to be a bit finer than my Pelikan nib? Or should I go for the B nib on the Sailor, attempting to get it closer to the range I've already got. I'm leaning towards the M nib, just because I think I might like the variety.

 

Opinions?

I think the Sailor gold nibs, Broad, are a little finer than the Pelikan Medium gold nibs.

I would go with the medium for the variety as you stated. The sailor medium will write very close to a pelican fine. I'm a big fan of sailor pens. I hope you enjoy the pro gear.

Sailors are great pens. You won't be dissapointed. I've owned two medium nib pens and they are a joy to use.
