I also have to say that not ALL old paper is 'good' old paper. These Morilla grid pads bleed something awful. tongue.gif

Nice review. Is it the same nib as the Safari?

I don't think so---it's a different finish, but I could be wrong. And I think it writes a little thicker line, at least compared to the Safari I used to have.

PS: Thanks!

Sailor:

Great review. I just bought one with matching pencil for my daughter for Christmas. She's been admiring my pens for while.

I dip-tested it before I packaged it up.

What I liked:

1) It is a perfectly writing pen. It's nib is very forgiving. I don't have to stand over my daughter ensuring she doesn't mess up my pen.
2) It's wooden body is quality construction; reminds me of those well-made German toys I had as a kid.

What I didn't like:
1) It's too small. Okay, it's for a child or someone with small hands.
2) You can't post the cap on that functionless nob on the top. On the pencil, this nob turns to feed the lead.

Nope, you can't post it---you can't post the earlier versions of the Pelikano Jr. either! At least the non-posted caps don't roll away, a small detail which I appreciate.

Small? Not to me! tongue.gif
