IT IS DONE!!!

I have finished the Indexing of all the Fountain Pen Reviews here on FPN. Suprisingly it only took me about 3 days and some change. Thank goodness that nothing is going on at work!!! Many hours went into looking at the reviews and then indexing them so it can be accessed easily and alphabetically!!

Now, this is where it is up to you!!! If there are any typos or mistakes, please let me know by either PM me or email me or what ever. If I mistakenly not put a review up there and I should of, please let me know and send me the link so I can double check to see what happened. There were a few reviews where practically no information was given and I had no where to put them. So I threw them in the Various Unknown Pen Reviews section at the bottom of the list. IF you know a little more details about the pen, please let me know so I can put it in its rightful location!! I hate putting a review on a pen in the Various Reviews section.

I will do my best to stay on top of indexing reviews as they are posted in the forum. I ask for your help when submitting reviews. Please add this to your review so I can accurately label the review so it makes it easier for people to locate the review.

Here it is:

Pen Brand (Sheaffer, Nettuno ect.)

Name of Pen (Legacy 2, Balance 2 ect.)

Color of the Pen (cranberry red, aspen, Lapis Blue ect.)

If you can add this to the title or somewhere in the review, it will make things easier for everyone!!

I want to thank everyone who has helped me out by sending me corrections and additions. This has helped me out tremendously!! It is tough being Dyslexic and dealing with tons of letters and numbers. Something is bound to get screwed up somewhere, so I thank you all for your patience and Support.

Now lets get cracking on your reviews!!!!

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
