Just bought the ED version (47R). Does anyone know what size nib it is in the Camlin 47?

I am thinking it is a 5 or perhaps 5.5mm. Just in case the nib is a bad one that doesn't respond to a polish with the mesh. I just couldn't help myself. I love Indian pens and Eyedropper types in particular.

Its called nib size 00 in the catalog of Indian nib manufacturers. 00 is very different from 5 or 5.5.

The nib remains the same minus the gold plating.

The ebay listing was slightly inaccurate. The pen is the piston-filler and is stamped 'Kokuyo Camlin' on the clip.

How does one extract the piston from the barrel to apply grease?
