I'm glad no-one wrote the Lolcat bible version (from http://www.lolcatbible.com/index.php?title=Psalm_45 ):-

Psalm 45:1

Meh hart is can be oberflode wit many goodz themez;

I tellz my tayulz abowt da Kingz;

Meh tung bez da pen uv a reddy riter.

The only conclusion to that is 'Ur Inglish: I Broke it'.

Regards

Richard.

oh my....... I guess in another hundred years the english we use will be classed as old english and our old english will be old old english and that - what ever you call it will be the standard inglish :o

So I'm opinionated - get over it!!.......No, really - get over it!!

Hmmmm I was going to put up a WANTS list - but that's too long as well ......

Sorry I missed the Noon announcement time...it took longer than I thought to see my 13 year old daughter off to camp :)

Family first, then pens....right?

I will now review the whole sha-bang and announce the winner ASAP!

Hopefully within 20 minutes!!!

A few more minutes please...this is more wonderful than expected and I don't want to rush the rush.

I'm about half way there at 1:35 EST. No later than 3 pm , perhaps sooner.

I'm very blown away and appreciative of the beautiful response.

I would like to take my name out of consideration for any of the prizes. I just entered for the fun of it and don't really want or need any new italic pens.

Thanks

I apologize again for late reply ~ my Comcast went down just before I could reply yesterday. My elaborate response with

glowing tributes to everyone was lost.

Please know that everyone's work was, IMHO....... REALLY GREAT! SUPER KUDOS!

I've chosen to send the 45 to TrevorML. I think his beautiful style will enjoy it the most.

Honorable mentions to EVERYONE! Superb! Materful! Delightful! Excellent! The stuff that makes angels smile!

Thanks again. Gosh, you are so good! Please forgive the delay.

May the King smile upon you ~

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
