Snow Pics For PenEmporium Buyers!

Winter Greetings from DocNib's PenEmporium!

Several of my buyers have asked for pics of the snow-covered scenery surrounding us (better late than never Gerard!) and we just got thru with our 2nd storm in 3-days, so here's a few to whet your whistles! Next storm, which could be tonight, tomorrow or Friday, I'll shoot pics of our romping 130 lb. Akitas up to their bellies in snow (& faces dotted w/flakes!)...at times all you could see were their tails and they had to hop like Jackrabbits just to move!

Scenery around here just about takes your breath away after a snowstorm...

Our Winter mascot "Jump Off Joe"...

The massive "antique" satellite dish (just haven't had the heart to take it down!)...

A very long & winding driveway (looking toward the street)...

A view up the street (literally goes UP the mountain!)...

A view down the street (again, literally DOWN the mountain!)

10 acre horse farm across the street (with the classic "old" barn & the squeaking loft doors!)...

All those heavy snow-laden boughs have now been emptied by wind & rising temps, but more flakes are a comin'!!

Working on more pen sale posts as we speak...more Sheaffer's, more BHR, RHR & MHR goodies and whatever else made it here thru the storms ("care" pkgs.) via the trusty old USPS!

Enjoy!

Beautiful pics and beautiful scenery!

Doc(Ansel[Adams])Nib?

Perhaps just not quite yet, though you did a great job leveraging the snow to add an artistic black and white cachet to your color pictures.

Thanks!

Well, Ansel had to start at the bottom too! Got a long way to go, but at least I've got the "artistic cachet" on track. Funny how color pictures turn out to look Black & White... :hmm1: ! Lots of great subject matter with forests & mountains as your backyard (& front & sides too!)...

Thanks for the positive critique G!

Not bad temp-wise, only 29 degrees...beats the 5 to 20 below in the Midwest that some of my customers told me about (born there, so I unfortunately remember it!)!

Well, it will kill the snowman if it doesn't kill me.

Here I am in breezy Leeds (UK) wishing that we could get a couple of inches this weekend to keep my young boys happy... and tire them out!! Any chance you could ship one of your storms over here? Global warming has turned the chilly North of England winter into a rather boring and timid affair.

Fantastic! What a beautiful place. I was just looking through some old sales and ran across this. The scenery matches your pans! Breathtaking!
