A Ball Point pen

I have just found what seems to be a "high quality" ball point pen among my wife's "things." The only words on the pen are Lady Roy. The pen's ink seems to be a little weak, so I thought I would try to remove the cartridge to see about replacing it. It does not want to come out, and I a fearful of forcing it. Any thoughts of who made this pen, and why the insides do not want to come out?

did you try unscrewing it, maybe it's like the cross refills and need unscrewing

Maybe a hacksaw or blasting cap would do the trick... :ltcapd:

 

Seriously, if it's not threaded into the barrel, it should be possible to just pull it out.
