Can someone please do a Private Reserve Tropical Blue review? I only saw 1 on the index and the pic link is dead.

 

 

I'll try and do one in the next few weeks. I think I have a sample from Shawndo.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I'm very curious how the old Grenade compares to the Oku-Yama. Anyone please?

 

I can give this a shot tonight. My generous twin sister, Fireant, sent me a sample of Grenade, and I just got a bottle of Oku-Yama.

Hi, I have Camel ink from India and can review it. Also I'd like to post on Russian Raduga (Rainbow) inks for fountain pen and dip nibs - they are very different.

I'd like to see reviews of Cult Pen's Deep Dark inks (Diamine brewed). I think they're really nice colors that are appropriate in a professional setting.

I would like to see Delta Green reviewed. I picked up a bottle several years ago. I must say I regret it as I am not in love with the ink and it was on the expensive side. I'd like to see a review to see if I am missing something.

 

If I get up the courage - I will do a review myself :)

(Though I noticed that "Delta" was not in the index.)

Hakase real sepia ink. There are 2 versions of it, one for 6,000 yen which is for fountain pens and the other for 7,000 yen which is for brushes etc. (not sure). I'd like the fountain pen ink reviewed since i intend to buy it when i place the order for Hakase. I know it's a steep task to even get this ink let alone review it. There are 2-3 threads for it in the forums but i don't think any of them can be classified as reviews. Thanks in advance.

 

Also, if possible, please include some text written with various nib types (EF, F, M, B, BB, Stub).

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
