This page shows a price of $238 with $15 shipping and then there's tax.

The Peerless platinum with F gold nib and gold clip.

I got the last one fishing in the Amazon. I was fishing because I saw a similar price for the black enamel, but I like platinum metal pens.

It came very fast, about four days.It came very fast, about four days.

Only quibble I didn't get the convertor, but I have lots for Cross.

I think it may be hard to find this link, I got it under "buy another one". But I don't see it if I just search for "Cross Peerless."

I hope the link works for you if you want this.

Amazon prices are crazier than "Crazy Eddie".

( I don't feel competent to review pens, but I will say this is my nicest Sailor Pen!)

Cheers,

I have to admit the title rather confused me. "Platinum Peerless? The only model by that name I'm aware of is from Cross, not from Platinum"

That said. I want it! Though this seller doesn't ship to my country, and I can't afford it right now anyway.

It is on my list but I just purchased the Pilot Capless Rhodium Stripes model in a bargain and my budget flew. This model comes more or less periodically in good sale price on Amazon, just wait for the opportunity.

Very reliable, solid. Writing feel, it’s my best Sailor.

The shape feels better to my grasp then it looks to the eye. Clip works super, might be my best clip ever.

And no worries, not delicate.

Cheers,

Already have my favorite version - the london limited edition in its hilarious over the top golden tower of london style.

Incredible pen. I passed it up for a long time because it was a C/C and am now very, very that the one I like the best just kinda fell into my lap.

Selling a boatload of restored, fairly rare, vintage Japanese gold nib pens, click here to see (more added as I finish restoring them)

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
