An aurora nib point will cost you an arm and leg.. I had to buy one after aurora customer service in Torino stolen mine... :unsure:

I'm sure Dennis at La Couronne du Comte and Michael at Endless Pens would both gladly oblige and source one for me from Aurora if I asked, even though 'spare' or standalone Aurora nibs are not in either store's retail product catalogue.

If you need (or just want) one, then you need one, and it's good to know it's possible to buy with a non-trivial degree of financial 'pain' if you so choose, as opposed to not having a choice and not being about to get one at all for love or money.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
