The second time it sold for $ 760,00.

 

The first and second time "delivery was not possible due to the closure of Spanish Airways".

I am curious what will happen this time...

Or that this person is manufacturing these counterfeits and selling multiple copies?

 

Is it just the barrel which is suspect? With old (original) parts fitted to build a complete pen? Or is the whole thing a new build?

 

It's fascinating to see the work that has gone into this. I'm only calling it a counterfeit because more knowledgeable minds than mine have deemed it so. Left to my own devices, I would never have known.

Apparently he has been doing this for quite some time. Either this is the third identical one in the past 3 weeks or its the same pen. Whichever the case, it’s pretty but not real....

He states in the ad that it is the same pen and he uses the same pictures for the third time (at least that´s what I have seen of it).

 

So either he sells the same pen for the third time (minimum), which is strange enough, or he has a small production line and only claims it is the same pen over and over again. To know which one it is, I would have to buy the pen, but although it looks very nice I think I´ll pass on that...

One of the heavy-hitters over on the FB fountain pen group bragged about buying this pen yesterday, but the whole post, pictures, comments and all disappeared after a while. How odd.............. :rolleyes: !
