Has anyone purchased this particular pen case? https://www.amazon.c...95159276&sr=8-8

What are your thoughts? Are there any other alternatives under $100? I prefer to pay no more $80. It has to fit Pelikan m800 or smaller sized pens. I am okay with fitting m600 sized pens. Must be able to hold at least 10 pens, but 20ish is preferred.

A quick search for "pen display case" on AliExpress shows at least three different products in that price range. No idea how deep or wide the pen slots are, though, because I didn't bother to look into the details.

As always:  1. Implicit in everything and every instance I write on FPN is the invitation for you to judge me as a peer in the community. I think it's only due respect to take each other's written word in online discussion seriously and apply critical judgment.  2. I do not presume to judge for you what is right, correct or valid. If I make a claim, or refute a statement in a thread, and link to references and other information in support, I beseech you to review and consider those, and judge for yourself. I may be wrong. My position or say-so carries no more weight than anyone else's here, and external parties can speak for themselves with what they have published.  3. I endeavour to be frank and truthful in what I write, show or otherwise present when I relate my first-hand experiences that are not independently verifiable. If it is something you can test for yourself and see the results, I entreat you to do so.

Can you get your hands on an old cutlery box? If so you could order your own pen tray and fit it inside. I bought mine because it was only $40, but it fits 16 pens across. The loops on the top of the case won't fit a thick pen since they're made for utensils, but if you've got some shorter pens you would be able to "stack" them in the tray.

This one came with a felt like liner, and the box is real wood. I'm sure you could ebay yourself and old silverware box. I've never bought from Aliexpress, but it seems like it's just a lot of cheaply made trash.

AliExpress is a marketplace very much like Amazon, in that both sell cheaply made trash and good stuff alike.  It is not a maker of goods nor a brand name for goods.

I stand by my opinion. Reviews are terrible. Plus let's be honest. Canada's relationship with China is barely salvageable. It's a matter of time before they stop shipping to us anyway.
