Hi all,

Does anyone know where I might be able to get the refill for my older Sheaffer ballpoint, maybe from the 80s (even 70s)?

Its thread is in the middle of its body. I sent an inquiry to customer service (which is now part of Cross pens and located in RI)

Many thanks for any leads you can provide. Here's a pic:

I've searched for "Hallmark Pen Refill" and found the following article.

The summary is as follows:

We will provide an adapter so a Cross pen refill can be used in your pen.  Our pencil refills are no longer available.

Required details are provided in the support article, which is dated April 28, 2020.

Is that a Sheaffer refill? What kind of pen uses it? I was under the impression that they used G2-compatible ones. At least my 70's vintage pens do.

It looks like a Hallmark pen refill from the 80’s and as mentioned above there was indeed a plastic adapter that a Cross refill screwed into that extended the threads to where they would fit the pen. I have a Hallmark pen and got the adapter at the local Hallmark store several years ago. I doubt that the stores still have them, but the company may still send if requested.

On closer inspection, the refill pictured says “Hallmark” on it.
