Nice.  I have a couple of letters I need to get out this weekend.

Very interesting article. Just completed weekly cards to my granddaughter and grandson and a letter to my brother.

Thank you for posting.

That's lovely, thanks for posting the link. So great that many in the postal service wrote back to her! I too have stepped up my letter-writing during the pandemic. A friend to whom I don't ordinarily write letters, commented on the difference of my "handwritten voice", compared to email or video calls.

Same here. Even pre-pandemic, I frequently sent handwritten postcards and letters to people and invariably they were touched by it in a way that electronic communication just can’t match (although equally invariably they seemed to regard me me as some kind of steam-punk Victorian relic  :D ).

I've sent nearly 1000 letters since December to people in nursing homes.  https://lovefortheelderly.org/

I thought I'd reach 1000 this month, but it will probably be in June. Now, let me confess that I have written very few that are actually letters and mostly some cool quotes on amazing papers with well wishes, but each has been hand written.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).
