Ruth, when you eventually win the lottery, I think somewhere in the mix there will have to be a French Blue Safari with the red clip!


Maybe, maybe not.  It's still a Safari, and I hate like heck spending that kind of money on a Safari -- even in that color combination.  I mean, I've paid less apiece for nearly ALL of my Parker 51s; and the prices I'm seeing rival what I paid for the English-made N?avy Grey Aero with the OB nib (and that cost included the buyer's premium at the auction).

Because, when push comes to shove, I'm a cheapskate.  Someone a while back, when I said something similar in a thread, was trying to be polite and said, "No, no, you're just frugal..." and I said, "Nope.  I'm a cheapskate!"  :P
