Thank you, gmax.   The white is sometimes referred to as "porcelain white" and that would seem to match your description.   I think I would prefer it to the wilder alternatives.  I just can't decide if I want a white pen!     I'm still hoping they'll produce a Racing Green or a Black Violet.
