I learned something today. I purchased the black one for the 2788 nib. Until today I didn't know there was but one size of the transitional J's. The jewel is also smaller.

The transitional pens came in both J and SJ sizes.

 

It looks like both of those are the last generation trans pens, since they have the branded clip.

Yes, the later generation using the Anderson site. When looking at the photos of Anderson I didn't see the demi size.
