Fountain pen hospital In NYC is selling new old stock Krones for $89. Its not advertised on their website, but you may be able to buy over the phone, if you cant manage to go to the store.

I picked up two. One is, I believe, a Metaphor Chesterfield. The other, I dont know. It has a flat top, black resin with brown, blue, and silver-grey stripes. And, even though it doesnt look it, the barrel is so much longer than the Chesterfields that it takes a bladder thats almost twice the size of the Chesterfields. They both have the same size 18K nib.

Can you help me identify the mystery Krone?

I agree. And these nibs are SUPER wet. I just wish that I could figure out what model the longer black pen is. Does anyone know?

Send a picture to Dana Piet over at Krone.  She's wonderful to work with and has answered many questions I've had about these fabulous pens.

Her email is: DPIET@AMER-NEEDLE.COM
