Thank you for putting up the picture Driften! I'll save a copy now for future reference... :) it's especially useful to me.

Yes I think I would like the 02, the step looks small and far back.

Those colours you mention are nice actually. It's odd how FC rotates them, but I assume they have to work in batches.

Agreed. This is a wonderful resource. Thank you.

Yes, thanks! I do find it quite difficult to compare FC’s models on their website now.

I chose my user name years ago - I have no links to BBS pens (other than owning one!)

Just to be complete here is caped and posted, but the current capped image from the F-C site would be better since it has the new ones.

Thank you so much. These images are so good even if they don't have the new models. Exactly what I needed.

No Problem... it is interesting to see how the model 03 is the longest of them all if posted. I don't think I would post that pen. I like how deep my Model 02 posts do to the strange body shape. The model 20 and 31 I don't post. My 45L for some people they would need to post it but I can use it unposted as well.

Thank you to everyone for the helpful advice - I ended up purchasing a model 20 ice with a Masuyama MCI nib at the Philly show today. All of these posts helped out a lot

Thank you.

Where's the picture?  You can't go through all this without a picture.  That's the de facto rule.

Oh yes, I was probably going to remember later but thanks for reminding me. I'll have some pics up later today for sure :)

Mine is an F CI, also very nice, very precise. Has anyone eyedropped the FC pens? I still use a c/c but am very tempted to use it in ED mode.

I was trying to but I couldn't get the feed out (maybe it was glued in) in so I was hesitant to ED it because I want to put silicone grease on the back of the feed. But I may try that later.

I’ve been a huge scaredy-cat about eyedroppers but I took the plunge with my 66 in ice and it looks fantastic. No problems with it either.

The nib unit just twists out. You just have to be a little more careful on the model 20 and 31 with how the nib is set into the section.
