I bought this expecting to really like it but, no - just too washed out looking. I wanted it to be darker.

Perhaps try it on different paper or in a different pen? Ive not experienced it being washed out yet.

I've tried it in different pens. It's not the ink that looks washed out, it's the color. Deep Sea Green is the same.

Oh I see.  Deep Sea Green is certainly quite grayed and faded.  Tsuki-Yo is much more saturated.  It's not ultra-saturated like KWZ blues, or Diamine, but it's much more saturated vs. something like Sailor Jentle Blue-Black.

Thanks 4 this mini review. I loved it! I am a blue ink person. When I started with fountain pens 3 yrs ago I started buying plenty of colors except for 1-2 blues as I wanted try new colors. And then last year my love for blue inks was rekindled and now I am buying a bunch of different blue inks. Among them this one and I like it very much!

It's very helpful to see those images.

Thank you for your kindness in reposting them for those of us unable to view other versions.

Tsuki yo was the first I bought, and the first ink I bought a second bottle of.
