I am a transplant from the eastern US coast, and southern Europe. I am also a US Air Force veteran and have a collection of fountain pens I do my best to rotate so each pen has the chance to tell its story. I use modern as well as vintage pens to write my pen pal letters. if you want to correspond, contact me at lightspiritphotography@gmail.com I grew up bilingual in Italian and American. I still retain some Italian after leaving there decades ago. My favorite coffee will always be cappuccino. I'd like to hear ... I mean read, some of your stories and share some of mine.

Hello from a former Hoosier! Spent many years down on the Ohio in Madison.

Have you been to any pen stores such as Private Reserve Inks in Zionsville? Are they worth the trip to see them?

Hello and welcome to FPN, from Cape Town, South Africa.

To sit at one's table on a sunny morning, with four clear hours of uninterruptible security, plenty of nice white paper, and a [fountain] pen - that is true happiness!

The short answer is that a Hoosier is a person living in/born in Indiana. The long answer involves several apocryphal accounts and considerable speculation. Here's a link if you're truly interested. Enjoy!

Welcome from an eastern, Ohio neighbor. Indiana is a good place to live for oaccess to Pen Shows. You have three different relatively close Pen Shows to consider attending. The First next year will be Chicago, the Second, Michigan and the Third, Ohio. And, depending on where in Indiana you live, the St.Louis show may also be fairly close.

Welcome to Fountain Pen Network!

It's nice to let all of your fountain pens express their own respective tales.

Thank you for your service for the nation.

I've been a frequent visitor to northeastern Italy.

Happy Writing!

Tom K.

Hello and welcome to you. The closest I can get is I am a former Hoser. Retired now and just squirt ink (no jokes please)
