I don't remember seeing it advertised anyplace of the usual US retailers who carry R&K inks, but then I haven't really been buying ink much recently until this week.

Despite my bluster that it would sell out as quickly as Aubergine - as of May there are still European supplies around. The good folks as fountainfeder, pennonia and appelboom have it (and ship worldwide), but my local stationer papierundstift has sold out.

I couldn't see any available at US stores (according to google anyway).

Thanks for the information.  I haven't really done much ink ordering from overseas vendors, but I have looked at appelboom's website in the past.

ETA:  I understand that some inks are limited to specific vendors/markets, or limited by the availability of the components.  But as a result it's a bummer for the rest of us....

Apparently Vanness1938 had it, but showing as out of stock now.

Well, after my recent experience with them, I'm not a fan of the place any more.  Got one of their ads in my inbox last week, and in unsubscribing from getting mailers I told them why I was unsubscribing -- in EXCRUCIATING detail....

Though I'm late in the game, I must show my appreciation for the OP's fascinating ink review.

It is on the basis of reading this review that I decided to buy a bottle myself.  I have a certain weakness for brown/sepia inks & am a huge fan of the Salix & Scabiosa ferrogallics.  R&K inks have always been well priced & reliable.

As a spec. ed. ink, 20.00 CAD is a good price point, well below some of the usual "boutique" brands.  .

Thank you kindly Sir.

20 CAD is a good price - around 13 Euro, a pinch more than I paid in Germany inc tax (although our Berlin correspondent, Lapis has found it cheaper).

I wish you much writing pleasure with your new ink.
