Can you buy the Pelikan M400 Brown Tortoise body section only? Want to modify my green version (latest version).

It's not as if the Pelikan M400 Brown Tortoiseshell model is still being produced, is it?

 

All the same, I'm sure if you offered a high enough price — presumably more than what it cost the seller to acquire the whole pen, nib and all, in the first place — someone would be happy to sell you just the pen body (or "body section", although I'm not sure what you mean by that on the piston-filler).

Are you referring to just the barrel? There is a seller on eBay that is selling the pen without the nib. May be as close as you can get. That listing can be found here. No affiliation or endorsement there.

PELIKAN - Too many birds in the flock to count. My pen chest has proven to be a most fertile breeding ground.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..
