Crazy Discount Deal On Online Pens

Hi FPN, Every so often I get a crazy big close-out discount on some pens. I have a crazy good deal on some Online Schreibgerate Germany Business Line pens. Online has changed US distributors twice in the last few years and the distributor before the last one was moving their warehouse and just needed these out of the way so I got a killer deal! Great for gifts, charity auctions, and of course for your collection.

I have the Online Schreibgerate Business Line Fountain Pen and Ballpoint pen at nearly 90% off. These are very well made beautifully finished all metal pens. The fountain pen comes with an international cartridge but will take an international converter as well. I have medium nibs only. The ballpoint takes a standard Parker-type ballpoint refill. The ballpoint is 5 3/8" long. The fountain pen is 5 3/8" long capped or 6" long posted. I have the fountain pen in red or champagne gold and the ballpoint in red, champagne gold and cognac brown. These are new but without a box as I received more pens than boxes. However if you need a box for a gift I can offer a beautiful unbranded black lacquer gift box for $5.00 extra per box (see photo). So here is the deal:

Brand New Online Business Line fountain pen in red or gold have a retail price of $135.00 but your price is $16.00 each including free shipping in the USA.

Brand New Online Business Line ballpoint pen in red, gold or cognac have a retail price of $110.00 but your price is $14.00 each including free shipping in the USA.

Black lacquer gift box is $5.00 each extra.

HOWEVER, if you want a red or gold Fountain pen and ballpoint pen set in black lacquer box the set is $32.00 including free shipping in the USA.

Email me at speerbob@starpower.net if interested. Cheers, BOB

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
