What did I specifically buy? it's a falcon EF nib for sure, but the body looks different, with the solid gold color tail cap.

 

Is this just an older namiki offering?

 

Either way it was $80 and the nib looks straight, so I doubt I'll be too bummed

Looks like you got a good deal -- the MSRP for that pen is $300.

The description says "resin" but the seller is selling another falcon in SF that looks like a normal falcon, so I think maybe just got confused.

Well guess I got the deal of the year, the pen is abjectly pristine, not a scuff on it.

 

$90 shipped for a metal falcon SEF with a con-70.

 

Now I just need one in resin with gold trim. This pen is amazing.
