SAVE THE DATE: SATURDAY NOV 30th

We are holding our first Holiday Pen Bazaar on Saturday, Nov 30 from 1:00 to 5:00 at the Lucky Lab at 1945 N.W. Quimby Street.

Our goal is to enjoy some camaraderie as well as having the opportunity to sell/trade some of our pens. The room that we have used previously has been reserved. Tables as usual are $20 each. Please let Joe Kelly know if you want a table. He will collect the money at the event, but he must know who wants a table to help allocate table space.

November 30th is the Saturday after Thanksgiving Day. Shoppers will be out. We have never tried this event before, but if a good time is had, it can become an annual Bazaar. The event will be posted at specific stores and appropriate websites. The public is invited.

Besides your pens you should bring writing paper, a magnifying glass, a table lamp (LED lights are best), ink, etc.

Is this still happening? I haven't heard anything about it since this post & can't find a website or anything.

Yup, still happened. There were ~8 vendors, generally skewed toward vintage.

Some lovely folks from the Portland pen club gave me a sample different paper types to try; I handed off a broken Vacumatic for repair; got a pen I'd been hunting for a couple years; and had some lovely chats with a few people during & after the event.

Overall, a delightful time; well worth the drive.
