EDIT: The online version of Specs5 appears to be nothing more than a repetition of the urushi articles already posted by Lamy. Waste of your time if youve been following the regrettably superficial narrative. The print version of the magazine may contain additional articles. Dunno yet, its on the way.

Cover story is the urushi Dialogs.

You can order a free print copy of any of the five volumes.

Thanks for posting this.  I always forget SPECS is a thing, but I always enjoy flipping through it (even if, as you say, this time around it's very repetitive (as it turns out, I haven't been following the discussion, so it was a good catch-up)).

The images of the Dialog on the cover are quite stunning.  I take it these are the pens with the exorbitant price-tag?  Lovely pens, nonetheless.

D.

Got the print version. Yawn.

While a magazine about pens is always cool, this was a sad rehash of everything Lamy had already published about the urushi Dialogs. No additional or better photos, no deeper interviews, nothing to add to the, umm, dialog. Such a disappointment.
