Can anyone provide info on a old Parker Sonnet Rollerball that I have had in my collection for years.  It appears to be identical to the FP but I am not certain that that it is the same gold plated body. It's from 1994 - I think.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks, Robb

The finish is called Athenes. This finish was carried over from the Parker 75 Premier range and always seems to attract a premium price on the second hand market. I have a few of the Premiers and a couple of Insignia's with this pattern, it is in my opinion only second to the barley corn pattern in terms of attractiveness.

RB barrel should have a 'Barrel insert' that would prevent using FP section with full size cartridge/converter.

RB cap have circle pattern at the jewel (as identification from the top)

other than that all in same size/dimension

The barrel insert can be removed if in case one would like to convert the RB to a FP.
