By the way, while I'm thinking about it, does anyone know of any variety of ringtop pen that carries an oversize nib? The biggest I've ever seen is on my Dorics, but they're only slightly larger than the typical #2 nibs of the time.

I can't remember if it's Pilot or Sailor but one of them just came out with a limited edition set of pens that are ring top, the catch is that the set is about $48K!!!

The largest I have in my pile is from a Sheaffer's Balance - I'd say its around a 6 (just below the oversized Senior size).  There may be a bigger one with a flat top as I did have a jade one of these as well short but no ring.
