Aurora 100Th Anniversary Inks - In Many Colors!

Marcin, thank you a lot! Great photos (considering black, blue and blue-black the colours are very true to reality)!

Seeking a Parker Duofold Centennial cap top medallion/cover/decal.
My Mosaic Black Centennial MK2 lost it (used to have silver color decal).

Preferably MK2. MK3 or MK1 is also OK as long as it fits.
Preferably EU.

Thank you so much for the photographs! Are these inks similar to original Aurora Black in high lubrication? Grey and Blue-Black are most interesting to me, followed by Sepia.

Thank you very much for sharing your sample swatches of these new inks with us!

I have been wild to try a few of these inks & hesitant to order before seeing a sample of the color before doing so; I finally grew tired of waiting for ANY Retailer to offer a swatch & ordered the two colors I wanted most from the Netherlands (after being disappointed to learn that the first Retailer in the US was only offering them as a set.)

I have been very happy with the orange & sepia I received but hesitant to order the green & red until I was convinced they would be the colors you show in your swatches; I thank you for confirming my impression that Aurora would offer such rich, expressive colors as you have shared with us.

You're welcome and happy to hear that you enjoy new colors :).

My pleasure! Here are additional photos of basic Aurora colors :).

Thanks Intensity. Yes, I find them to be just the same.

Here is the comparison of older and newer Blue, Black and Blue-Black Aurora inks. Hope this helps!

Outstanding comparison--thank you! I find Aurora Black to be incredibly lubricating; if other colors are similar, I'll definitely get some of them.

I really like their blue/black and I haven't had any drying out problems with it, either. I must be living right. 😺

I really like that turquoise, orange and gray; the purple is "pink" for me.

Thank you so much for the swatches! Very helpful. Was considering some of them before but they don't look too different from other inks I have so probably going to pass on these.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
