What Converter For Faber Castell Ambition?

Hi,

 

Recently sold off my Loom and got an Ambition instead (I love it). The Loom worked fine with a Schmidt K5 (which I sold off with the Loom) and I wonder if it'd also work with the Ambition, because I found that the Ambition will not accept either Jinhao's Standard International Converter or their cartridges.

 

Schmidt has the K1, K2 and K5 afaik. K2 are kinda expensive on eBay for whatever reason, so I need to choose between the K1 and K5. The Faber Castell branded converter is also rather expensive due to the shipping cost.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning.
