Dear All,

Greetings, I am from India and have newly joined FPN, a goldmine of information regarding fountain pens.

I recently got (re-)interested in fountain pens after using a Lamy Safari for past 2-3 years.

I needed something with better ink capacity and found TWSBI Eco to start with :)

However, due to my stupidity I lost it's nib, and now cannot find a reasonably priced replacement for it here in India.

Please guide as to what are my possible options.

Thanks and regards

Any JoWo no.5 nib will fit it. Are you able to get something from fpnibs.com? The nibs are only a few Euros.

You could also try emailing TWSBI customer support and see if they can post a nib to you

The TWSBI Eco nib has a slightly different curvature to a regular JoWo #5 (they're made by JoWo, but to TWSBI's custom specifications).  I know this because fpnibs.com used to modify regular #5 nibs to fit a TWSBI - but stopped doing so because the results were unpredictable.  They *do* now sell genuine TWSBI nibs to fit an Eco, though, so they'd be a good place to try (and last I checked, their international shipping rates weren't outrageous).

It *is* also worth reaching out to TWSBI, though, to see if they'll help you - I once destroyed the nib on a Diamond 580 (5-6 years ago I think?), and they kindly sent me a replacement for a nominal fee.
