Hi there, I finally got this visumaster in the mail and finished resac'ing it. There is a little darkening near the top of the grip section - is it possibly some ink staining? And the nib is probably not proper? Any idea where I can get a correct frosted 9xxx nib?

Nice pen!  I have a red and a black one.  Finding a frosted nib takes a little patience, but they are out there.  I have a frosted 9461 on my red Visumaster, but put an 8668 in the black one.   They're all good nibs, and I'm not a complete stickler for period accuracy.

I don't think the darkening is from ink.  I have what appears to be that condition on one of my grey VMs, but I think it's just the plastic.

It's taken 10 years for me to accumulate a number of the frosted nibs.  My collection of hen's teeth is larger ...

Best Regards
