Hi fellows fpners.

 

I might be able to acquire an unknown number of new Lamy Aion at a very good price. I don't know the nibs size, available colors or if they come with or without converter.

 

The price I am talking about is less than 55$ (this is conservative) (Goulet has them at 72$).

 

Before committing, I'd like to know if there is any interest in this. If yes, is nib size a deal breaker? Which color has your favor?

It's not a bad price, at any rate, but EndlessPens has them for slightly cheaper at around $53.01 shipped first-class in the states. It's where I got mine, but I don't think the Lamy Aions come with a converter; I bought 2 last month and neither do.

Drop.com (né Massdrop) is offering the Aion in either black or silver for US$48 + shipping (which is $0 for delivery addresses in the US). Endless Pens is offering the Aion in black, silver, blue or red for US$48.95.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..
