Thank you for the review as well as comparison with Yamabudo.

To you whom tried some inks of the Taccia line: do they have a tendency to sheen more or less like Ebi here? I lllllove sheen, alternatively noticable shading or otherwise "complicated" inks with depth, and mainly choose my inks based on that property.

Of the Taccia inks I have tried so far, Ao Blue sheens like crazy.  Daidai (Orange) does not sheen at all and Uguisi (olive green) has a little sheen.

With regard to shading, Uguisi shades nicely, and Ebi has some shading, but Ao and Daidai have little to no shading at all.

While I like Ao, my favorites are Ebi and Uguisi so far.

I hadn't noticed your answer, but thank you so much! I googled some more based on your comment and added Ao Blue to my wish list and will keep Ebi and Uguisi there as a maybes.

Thanks for the good review. Taccia inks are made by Sailor. I've reviewed the black/Kuro positively but for me the standout is red/Aka, that it is an exceptional ink.

Excellent review.  And the prices are really good compared with Sailor.

Ebi color is reminiscent to me of a watered down Diamine Manggis (in my recollection...who knows since I haven't pulled that out for a long time!).  Very nice.

Yes, and they flow just as well as Sailor. Tacchia Sabimidori is one of my favorite inks of all time  Just wish it were more waterproof.  (Images from Dromgooles and Pen Chalet.)

There’s already a review thread for Sabimidori—this one is for Ebi

Not to derail this thread further, but I thought Sabimidori has pretty good water resistance, based on this extensive review:
