I now own 6 Townsends...

A blue, a 10K gold, a black/silver finish, medalist and a ruby red, and a solid silver.

I find myself using the medalist more than anything else!  The chrome hides the patina of daily use, and the gold seems to break up the shiny finish well.  I find myself switching nibs out regularly, but always using the medalist.

Anyone have a favorite finish?

All the best to the Townsend fans out there!

Funny you said that.  I was going to say "Medalist" -- because it's the only Townsend I have!  I agree, though, that it's nice looking.

Lapis is my #1 favorite for sure, but lots of other finishes are particularly beautiful, including:  Jade; Cardinal Red Lacquer; Ferrari Red Lacquer; Emerald Lacquer; Garnet.

I often daydream about colors I wish they'd add, but sadly no one at A.T. Cross Co. is coming to me for suggestions. ;)

I only have one, platinum, but I love it. The guilloche is lovely.

If I could find/afford only one though, it'd be a lapis.

The Brushed Platinum SE and Sterling silver, are the only models I possess.

I might add the Carbonite and Quartz Blue.

For me, the orange one. Lusted after that one for a long time until I could afford it.  One of the few orange pens that I have (other than Deltas).
