New Starwalker Collection

Hello all, there is a new collection of Starwalker, evoking the galaxies (it seams that there are a blue dome within the resin cap).

I quite like the all metal version!

I saw it in person on Monday and wasn't that impressed. I still use an original black resin fountain pen each day at work.

 

Comparing the new one to mine, I like the silver bit nearest the nib as it looks a bit better quality than the original black part on mine.

 

I can understand the philosophy behind the blue bit on the MB emblem, representing sky and the cut of to space. I think though that it looks odd and I prefer the clear dome on the original pen.

I want to see the emblem from different angles before deciding if I like it. My first impression is meh.

I quite like the blue dome in the new design. The section and the nib of the Starwalker series, much less so.

I am looking forward to seeing how this line evolves.

Did they do away with the Starwalker Urban line? I actually really liked that line because of the sharper angles of the pen which made it look more masculine. Not a fan of the new starwalker.
