I've never seen this kind of ST Dupont pen before.

It's a St Germain model from the early 90s and was one of the lower end St Duponts with a steel nib.  I've never owned one, but I would hope it's still a quality pen.  I believe the cap would be made of plastic and the barrel metal, but if/once it's in your possession, no doubt you'll be able to tell us a bit more.  It's quite handsome to my eyes.

Its indeed a plastic cup and the nib is rhodium, the barrel is silver plate which had oxidized and i had to polish it. I have not used the pen as yet but it feels great holding it and you can feel quality as its expected from this maker.
