Legit Parker Seller?

Greetings! I was considering to replace my Parker Jotter Royal fountain pen to something with a black and gold finish and while searching I found these 2 sellers on eBay for Parker Frontiers:

1. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/332370346384?ul_noapp=true

2. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-Parker-Frontier-Matte-Black-Gold-Nib-Clip-GT-Fountain-Pen-Great-Gift/123600706191?hash=item1cc72d1a8f:g:-yIAAOSwrClcQds1&frcectupt=true

Did any of one of you have any experience with one of these 2 sellers? If so how was it, is it the real deal or just a fake? Or if you can recommend me some seller you trust that prefferably doesn't charge more than 5 pounds on shipping would be great.

it's not coming from outside the country and the price seems right.

Selling a boatload of restored, fairly rare, vintage Japanese gold nib pens, click here to see (more added as I finish restoring them)

As I understand it, all Frontiers are now made under license in India by Luxor.

Whilst legit, these pens are not manufactured for sale in the UK market and are what should be described as Grey Market. Before you buy, I suggest you read some of the reviews on Amazon

Personally, I wouldn't touch them. If you want a cheap pen, the Lamy Safari is a much better prospect.

I decided to skip this one and bid at an auction for a 45 from an auction house that a friend of mine used before and got no issues with it. Also, wasn't the frontier production ended in '12? Thanks for the information.

There are still some Parker Frontier's available that are made in the UK before 2012. When buying a Frontier make sure with the seller that its made in the UK or USA, if it is made in India the quality is very poor.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
