Any Interest In A Pelikan-Centric Gathering In The Nj/pa Area?

Hello everyone. I have had great interactions with people at the Philadelphia Pen Collectors meet-up, pen shows, as well as the Pelikan Hubs events. The flock gets restless and I'm contemplating hosting my own event in the name of The Pelikan's Perch in the NJ/PA area. This would be a Pelikan centric event displaying over 200 Pelikan fountain pens from my collection in addition to discussing various topics of interest and taking questions. Thinking maybe 2-3 hours on a day in the early Spring when the weather is a bit better. Location to be determined but someplace in Philadelphia, PA or Cherry Hill, NJ are two of the leading locations in my mind.

 

So my ask of the group here is, would anybody be interested in such a gathering? It'll take some work to plan and I don't want to get too deep into it if it's just going to be me and the flock. Let me know if you're interested.

PELIKAN - Too many birds in the flock to count. My pen chest has proven to be a most fertile breeding ground.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
