I picked up my Homer FP today.

Chatting with my, Ill call him client advisor, Jerry at MB Lenox square. Ill be purchasing a 149 at some point this year with a flex nib.

But as Im getting ready to leave, Jerry goes to a cabinet and pulls out a hardcover book, its the Iliad and Ofyssey. So with the Homer pen I also received a hard bound book of the stories. If your in Atlanta and visit or choose to go to a boutique I highly recommend seeing Jerry.

Just purchased a Montblanc 146 in the beautiful Bordeaux colour (146R) while at the South West Pen Show in Bristol. Great looking pen.

I gave Montblanc $195AUD for a level 2 service of my 146 with a stubbish medium nib as I had the misfortune to drop it. I cannot wait for it to return.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
