Who got all of these to start 2019???

I'm starting my new years with a few new Noodler's Ink the 54 Massachusetts and the Navajo Turquosie that it will be soon in my hands. The fountains pens I've ordered and waiting for them is a Twsbi Go, Hero 9075, Hero 329. And now I have started a travelers book and I absolutely love it.

Can't wait for all to be here now cause is going to be fun.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2019 To Everyone!!!!

Happy New Year to you too!

I'm starting this new year with my first travelers journal too, and new planner, the ink that i'm waiting for is Noodler's Black and Diamine Marine, the pens and inks already prepared but curious to see to which pen my hand will lean the most this year, already planning to buy moonman m100 to start this year :D
Hope this year will be even more generous in terms of new models or atleast new colors for existing models ~~~

Happy New Year again!

Only managed to get 2 out of 3, not the holy trinity.

Got a Platinum and Sailor along with a Diamine ink, 2019 is starting strongly for my wallet to suffer.

The year is yet young. With some rotten decking to pay for, pens will have to wait for a while. Happy New Year to all.

Happy new year to all for whom it's arrived - or still to come!

No new pens, but not long ago some new ink, and last week, a pen thought lost received back as a christmas present... so, better than new!

No new book in use yet, but I have several waiting in line and still can't decide which will be next...

such an embarrassment of riches. :)

a fountain pen is physics in action... Proud member of the SuperPinks

I'm waiting for an order with pens and ink, and a new TN arrived half December..

And now I'm trying really hard to uphold a no-spend January..

Tell me about it.. I have several shops with items in the shopping cart.. Must resist!

I'm really trying to focus on using (up) a lot of the stuff I own (ink, art materials, notebooks..) but the lure of new items is strong 😂

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
