This pen recently ended on ebay. It did not seem to draw much attention, but I am wondering what it is. The clip is non-Esterbrookish (is that a word?) and the two-tone cap is definitely different. A colored cap on a sold barrel can be explained easily. Is it a repair job of some sort?  Here's a link to a picture:

Wearever cap on an esterbrook barrel.

Does that make it a Wherebrook?
