Saw a seller on eBay that has overall lower prices: it's the postage that kills it for me

Its generally cheaper in Taiwan but not by much a 580 is about 50 bucks and in the US its about 55 and maybe tax. You can check prices at the site below. Its a pretty cool and reputable shop in Taipei. Hope that helps.

On that site, TWSBIs are around 20% cheaper than they are at my local pen shop in Berlin, while Opus 88 pens are around 10% cheaper.

 

As you say, cheaper but not by that much.

They do sometimes have a sale and the prices get better. Asian inks on the other hand there is a larger % off difference. But I think in the US the inks generally are more expensive. I usually can get inks shipped from Germany for less to me for way leas, kind of strange.
