Dear Fountain pen friends,

As many of you know, this Friday, the 2th of November, is a special day... Fountain Pen Day!

On Fountain Pen Day we have some specials going on in our webstore, which can be found here>>> Fountain Pen Day Specials

Besides the specials we will give away a Visconti Homo Sapiens fountain pen between all the orders on this beautiful day. Also, we will have a special #freefountainpenfriday give away on Instagram for anyone who is not able to make a purchase in our webstore during this special day.

Also, there is a special discount coupon code - FPD18 - which gives you a discount of 18% to celebrate!

Happy Fountain Pen Day!

I have a quick question, on the website it says "All Fountain Pen Day Deals here, these prices are valid the entire weekend. Be aware, these are all single pieces!", but in your post you are talking about special prices that will only be shown tomorrow. Does this mean that those pens will be offered for an even lower price tomorrow?

Is there a trick to adding a pen to your cart using the mobile version of your website? Every time I try to push add to cart nothing happens. Usually I give up and find the pen on another site, but there is one you have that Im very interested in. Thanks.

Probably a good thing I missed this! Not sure I would have been able to resist a new pen!

I had trouble trying to add a Montblanc pen I was eyeing using my iPhone, wanted to have a BB or OBB nib, sadly the button to place it in the cart was very uncooperative,(thus I did not get the pen) instead I got myself a 12 pen case, which was cheaper than an MB FP.

Not only did I get a crazy low price on the MB JFK burgundy, but I also got lightning fast shipping, an EF nib special ordered, and fantastic customer service! I cant say enough good about this amazing shop! Thank you!

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
