In a recent Q&A video, Gouletpens announced that they will have some fountain pen day (November 2 2018) specials! They hinted that there may be some special discounts on select pens, free shipping in the US, and 10$ off shipping for international orders. So maybe check their website on fountain pen day if you want to see what deals they have :)

Apart from the nemosine singularity being ten bucks (a freaking steal) every other pen on the list is kind of a (bleep) deal for a "special." $136 for a diplomat aero is nothing special. Nothing to clamor over on the deal unless you really were waiting to pull the trigger on a conklin nozac or aurora.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
