Thanks in advance for any help! I am hopeful that someone can identify this Montblanc fountain pen.

Barrel & Cap are both sterling silver (hallmarked) in a twisted decagonal form with gold plated lattice bands and black resin caps

Gold plated clip is set with a cabochon gem, maybe a Ruby?

Nib is bi-tone but not marked for quality of gold, and has a compass/cruciform with letters RIKS or KRIS some other combo of those letters

Cap has etched numbers 0727 over 4810

Underside of the clip reads "GERMANY" and "PIX"

Cap on, measures about 5.5"

You’ve got a Karl de Grosse Charlemagne Patron of Arts with a nice nib. Can’t tell from the angle of the picture, but it might be an OBB. Should be a lovely writer.

GP is spot on. That nice, wide nib is fairly uncommon. I hope you are able to enjoy the pen. I'd like a nib like that.

It's a fake. Send it to me and I'll dispose of it properly.  :D

If I may ask, what would the value be of such a pen new or used? I'm guessing over $3k.

If you find any sold prices on eBay, you’ll know more than I do. It’s long discontinued.

I've seen used ones around $1200. I have nor seen any sealed ones sell recently.

There are a few results on LiveAuctioneers with the pen selling on average between $1-2k, but Ebay tends to get better results in my experience.
