Montblanc M Coral

Yesterday while I was buying my Homer FP, they had just received the Montblac M in what looked like the coral finish. Has anyone seen it or has information on it? I must say I am not a fan of the M but it did look interesting.

I’ve posted something a week ago, but the thread was deleted by the moderators since the pen hasn’t been officially released yet. Apologize.

Bright red M with rhutenium trim ... also matching inks (catridges only) and stuff.

Will make it harder to decide which M to get first!

Also a new version of the Petit Prince will launch tomorrow.

Cheers

Thanks, Michael, for the link. I saw photos of the M in red at a MB earlier in the year and I thought it looked quite nice. Surprised to learn of the new Little Prince offering (so soon after the initial release). I may try to stop by the Boutique tomorrow.

Thank you for the link Michael. I have to go see the Red M and the new Little Prince at the boutique tomorrow. I'm very curious what they look like in person.

Sounds lovely....

I think they may be marketing it as the “Holiday” set.

Will it be available this month or do we have to wait til december?

Oh, this sounds nice, thank you for the clarification. But if that's the only change, I'll pass. I'm happy with my resin Le Petit Prince as it is. :)

A reminder: Please DO NOT post photos or distinctive details about unreleased Montblanc product here in the Montblanc forum. "Seen in a boutique store dealer's catalog" or "shown to me by a shop manager" is not officially released.

It seems to be official now, although clicking on it gives "Page not found".

There seems to be something fishy with their webpage, actually. I think I caught it while updating, because the Fountain Pens section displays almost all of the pens they've released, including long discontinued ones like Einstein, Lennon, Mann, Twain, Verne etc.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
